Dr. Emilia Silletta is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Chemistry Department at NYU in the group of Prof. Alexej Jerschow. Her areas of expertise include NMR and MRI applied to Lithium batteries and she is the entrepreneurial leader in Battery Fingerprint Technologies. BFT is an MRI-based technology that is fast (5 sec) and can diagnose the battery's health without destroying the battery. The technology is specific to common battery manufacturing defects and battery failure and aging processes.
