Research Assistant Professor

Required Qualifications

PhD in experimental particle or nuclear physics and at least two (2) years of experience as a postdoctoral fellow.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Hardware development and leadership in some physics analysis of data set at Jefferson Lab.  Experience working in hadron-hadron collisions at RHIC/LHC or electron-hadron collisions.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Electron Ion Collider (EIC) detector R & D, physics simulations for EIC, Data Analysis of group projects including Phenix and JLab experiments.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: 12/1/18.
