Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. New York State Licensure or eligibility for one. M.D. or equivalent.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine is seeking one Obstetrical Specialist and four Hospital Specialists to join its expanding practice in Suffolk County. The selected incumbents will be responsible for ambulatory and/or inpatient case management; participation in teaching activities with fellows, residents and medical students; and involvement in University and Hospital committees.

The Hospital Specialist position will be focused on inpatient practice with a combination of 12-hour inpatient shifts AND 4 hour outpatient sessions.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
